Mr. Obiefuna (Obi) Ezenwugo, is a Co-founder and Director at Trovotech Ltd, a technology startup that develops regulated technology and market infrastructures for innovative financing and investment through Real World Asset Tokenization and Exchange of Digital Assets. Trovotech provides asset tokenization services via its tokenization platform that creates and issues tokens representing ownership in real-world assets. He leads the Business Management and Operations of the company.

He is also the Head of Business Development and Marketing for Bantu Blockchain Foundation, the not-for-profit organization that built and manages the Bantu Blockchain network infrastructure. Bantu blockchain aims to help Africa and its people become more powerful and successful by using modern digital technology. It wants to bring Africa back to a position of strength, where trade between African countries is easy and efficient. This vision is built on Africa’s traditional ways of working together and trading based on mutual agreements and trust within communities.

He was the VP of Operations at KuBitX- a startup that was set up to leverage Blockchain technology to provide a seamless remittance experience for global African migrants and also allow all users especially those in the African continent to send value across borders faster and cheaper in their respective local currency, without all the usual difficulties and charges faced with the traditional systems.

Obi is an electrical engineer and project manager with over 15 years of complex project management experience across various organizations. He is a certified engineer by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), a Corporate Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), and a certified Project Manager.

He started his career as an engineer in an electrical engineering consultancy firm and later with the power utility company in Nigeria (NEPA/PHCN). He was also a business development agent for various companies across the globe.

For the past 8 years, he has been focusing on supporting startups that are using exponential technologies such as Blockchain and Web3 to improve the way businesses operate and to solve the unique problems facing humanity, especially in Africa.
